Bio

Ryan Dziedziech is a Long Island based scenic & costume designer. He graduated in 2020 with a B.F.A. in Theatre Design/Tech from SUNY Purchase.

Artist’s Statement

I wish to have a career that stimulates me creatively, provokes me continually, and nourishes me artistically. I seek out design challenges to solve as if I’m a detective. Through collaboration & research, I learn the answer that lies deep within the heart of a play. The unique circumstances of every narrative are what inspire me. I respond to the constraints of a limited amount of time, resources, and space and aim for each story I tell to be distinct from any previous iteration.
